B. Make Up review

Hello again!! Today I thought I'd do my own little make up review for you guys. So recently Superdrug has had a half price sale on their 'B.' range. I've been a fan of theirs for a while, my first purchase being their 'B. Precise' gel eyeliner, which I swear by. I know that different eyeliners suit different people, but honestly this is one of the best ones I've tried. It's long wearing, glides on easily and provides the dramatic look I desire.

So with this in mind and there being this half price sale (hooray for sales!!) I thought I'd try a few other products. I was not disappointed. The first thing I tried was one of their foundations, 'B. Naked'; light hydrating foundation. I've always struggled with foundations myself, but this one is great. It's a light formula like it says on the packaging, and is very build-able depending on how much coverage you want. The problem I have with most foundations is the feeling of wearing them, I don't like feeling caked in make up. But this one feels like it's barely there at all. Paired with the 'B. Set'; sheer finishing powder, it stays on for a good few hours. The only slight problem is the fact that you may need to top it up through out the day. But this could depend entirely on your skin type, I've always had oily skin so usually have to top up any make up.

I also bought 2 lipsticks. I love lipsticks, more than lip glosses and lip crayons. They just feel that little bit more classy, but that's just me. The first one I got is the 'B. Rich'; Intense colour lipstick in the shade 054, which has the delightful name Eton Mess. I'm not great at describing shades, but to me this is a subtle raspberry shade, perfect for everyday use and just enough to make a difference. The formula is creamy and doesn't try out your lips at all. The lipstick itself is great, and I love the colour, my only little niggle is the packaging. I'm not sure if I got some special edition packaging, as I've looked on the website and the packaging is just a classic lipstick tube. The one I purchased is in a silver tube covered with pink flowers, which I'll admit is adorable. But you have to click the lipstick out of the bottom, rather than taking the top off. Interesting design, but this means as you're putting the lipstick back into the tube some product can get smeared around the edges. Again, this could just be me and mine may have gotten a little melty.

On the left is Eton Mess, the right is Tulip.

The second lippy I got is 'B.Sheer'; Conditioning Lipstick in 084, Tulip. This one is is a bight more bold, not entirely red, more of a brighter pink. Told you I'm not good at describing colours. This one is another lovely colour, something a bit more daring (well for me anyway). The packing for this one is also a lot better, a simple classic tube. When you first apply this one it is a little bit sheer, but it's very build-able and isn't too bright.
The formula is also great, it doesn't feel waxy or drying at all.

The final product is their 'B.Quick'; 4in1 cleansing wipes. These were down to £1.70, so I thought why not, I always need make up wipes. These are good for morning and evening use, if you're like me and sometimes forget to take your make up at night time and wake up looking like a panda. The packaging states that this product Cleanses, Tones, Hydrates and Conditions. Personally, I haven't noticed any huge difference in my skin, but I will stick at it. They good for removing waterproof mascara too.
So below is a look made with with all of these products, because sometimes it's good to see the products actually on a face. The only other things I used for this look is Maybelline's Baby Skin Primer and Rimmel's Retro Glam Mascara.

So that's my first little product review!! Hope it wasn't too long and rambling, and hopefully it helped some of you guys!! I really do recommend this range for anyone, it's amazing quality and definitely won't break the bank.

Until next time,

Lucy
