What I've been wearing.

Hello again!! A few months back one of my very good friends gave me a bunch of vintage clothes from her grandma, which was great!! These clothes are original sixties, all handmade and are of amazing quality. The only problem is some of them were a tad too big, so I enlisted the help of my lovely nan to help take them in for me. To be honest I'm not the best at sewing, many of my friends are great at taking in clothes and making complete transformations, but the most I can do is sew some buttons on my coat (even then I needed the help of my wonderful nan!!) I just don't have the know how or the patience. I can wear clothes, I can't make them!!

Anyway, in one of my previous posts Embracing your inner man, I talked about my love of suits and looking smart. But sometimes you just want to look like, well a girl. Which is where this dress comes in.

(I apologise for the quality of these photos, I will be getting a better camera come payday!!)

I love this dress. And I am not a pink or girly person, but this dress is fantastic. As I said it's handmade, and is so comfortable!! Paired with my favourite white heels, it has such a great fifties feel, a bit different to my usual style. The length is perfect for summer, even though we're coming to the end of it now. And with such a vivid colour, it certainly turns heads!!

So that's it for now, but I will definitely be doing more outfit related posts in the future, I love dressing up and sharing my style!! I've got several more of these beautiful dresses to take in, with the help of my nan of course.

Until next time,

Lucy
